Dear Lab Families,
Virtual classes at The Lab today were a big success! We weren't sure what to expect, but they rocked! Bravo to our great teachers, advisors, staff and students. Students interacted, worked on writing projects, PBL, Summit and Moby and most of all, supported each other.
Tomorrow we will do it again! Same time! Same link! And even better.

1:30-2:00 - Parent coaching (Parents we would like to you jump on the ZOOM classroom for a few minutes to review your child's AWR and discuss what your child will need in terms of at-home support for Moby Max for the day).
We will keep the same schedule each day, topics of course will change.
Parents, we need your help! Here are some of our lessons learned from today:
1) Please CHECK-IN on your child periodically as they participate to make sure they are logged on and engaged (we expect some distractions and that is ok - but it helps if they know parents are checking-in and taking this seriously).
2) Your child can join from their phone if there is problem with their computer. We are sending home Chromebooks for students who do not have a computer so check with lyndee.knox@lablearning.org if your child needs one to participate in our virtual classes.
3) Make sure you child has supplies - These are: a book to read during reader's workshop (at their level, one they are interested in), blank paper (printer paper is fine) or a composition book, pens, pencils, colored pencils/crayons (for the K-3rd).
Join us tomorrow! More than half of our students participated today! The Lab wants everyone to. Not only will keep everyone learning, but it creates connections and support at a time when we all need this, especially our children.
