Dear Lab Families,
We hope all of you are having a safe and happy holiday season. We are looking forward to seeing you next week. Classes start TUESDAY JANUARY 5TH!
We will continue on-site classes on January 5th with a virtual attendance option for those who prefer to not come onsite. We are monitoring the public health situation in Long Beach and protocols for youth serving organizations as they are updated by the city.
December was a fun-filled month at The Lab with The Owls (K-3rd) learning about different holidays and religious traditions - Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa- and creating beautiful candles and cards for their families along with all the other great learning they are doing with Ms. Kathryn. That classroom is truly a wonder.
Mr. T's One World classroom (5th-8th) grew by 5 students since November and is close to capacity. Students continued their Word of the Day, Readers and Writers workshop, math tutoring and personalized support for their homeschool curriculum. In addition, there were Pajama days, movie days and a Pizza party to celebrate the season!
