Co-Work at the Lab!

 

Come hang-out at The Lab! The Lab's SharEducate program is open to educators, enrichment vendors, and education-focused start-ups.  Through SharEducate, educators have access to a supportive community of like-minded educators at The Lab, as well as teaching and meeting spaces for up to 25 students at a time,* access to common areas including a kitchen, foyer, and a computer bar, as well as a dedicated workspace and use of The Lab's mailing address. 

 

*Meetings larger than 25 students are available but must be arranged separately.

Co-work hours: Afternoon and Weekends

 

Membership packages include free internet, utilities, use of common areas, and printing. 

Members must have current Livescan certification and appropriate liability insurance to qualify for a Lab SharEducate membership.

Classroom/meeting space package (16 hrs/month)  $280 a month*

16 hrs of reserved classroom space per month during co-work hours for up to 25 students at a time

Shared use of common spaces (foyer, computer bar, kitchen)

Coffee and tea

Free printer access (up to 100 copies/month)

Free wi-fi

Street parking only 

Promotion of your programs with families who attend the Lab and on our social media

*The lab serves a socio-economically diverse group of families in Long Beach and some of our families are unable to afford paying for after class-day enrichment classes.  While voluntary, we encourage each SharEducator to consider offering two scholarships per class (excluding the cost of any materials) to make it possible for low-income students who attend the Lab to also participate.
